Good for what it is. I did not find my Herrmann/Harman/Harmon family in this book. I was looking for the Harmons that settled Williamsburg, KY, western VA, TN. This is the band of 7 brothers that came over in 1726 and they are not mentioned in this book.

The kindle version has many typo's that make it hard to distinguish the meaning of many sentences. I would consider buying the hard copy if you are serious about getting complete information. Otherwise, it's a really neat piece of US history with some great stories about how it used to be.
Found precious history on my family, TY!
further documentation of my fathers side of the family. i primarily got this for my children and grand-children so that they can have something i never had when i was growing up - my family history all the way back to the 1700's. this book and ancestry's documentation is wonderful
